Happy Lunar New Year, everyone! 2026 is the Year of the Horse, joining years 2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954 and 1942. The horse is a symbol of energy, elegance and charm. This year the date falls on Tuesday, February 17th, and we will be celebrating as is our tradition since 2013, at Han Dynasty in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. We will enjoy a multi-course banquet consisting of the following wines and dishes:

COST: Couple Members and Single Members with one guest, $50.00 per person; Non-members and additional guests, $57.50 per person, ALL INCLUSIVE (food, wine, tax and gratuity). We accept only cash or checks as payment. Payment may be made at the door, but you must reserve in advance, no walk-ins. You must be current with dues to receive the member price. Dues are $35.00 per year for either a couple or individual membership. If you are paying by check, please have the check written out payable to German Wine Society before you arrive at the venue. If you are unsure what the amount should be, reach out to me and I will advise you in advance.

Space is limited so we cannot guarantee there will be availability until February 14th, but you are welcome to inquire at any time via email or phone. We advise you to reserve early to avoid disappointment. PLEASE ADVISE OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION SO THAT THE CHEF CAN BE PREPARED TO ACCOMMODATE YOU.
DIRECTIONS:
From Philadelphia and points West, take the Ben Franklin Bridge, and exit from one of the two left lanes. Follow signs to Routes 30 – 130; stay in one of the two left lanes. Two miles East of the Bridge, the highway divides at the top of a ramp. Bear left, towards Routes 38 & 70. At the bottom of the ramp, move over one (or two) lanes to your right, to stay on Route 70 East. follow for approximately 6 miles. The restaurant is on the left.
From Points North: Take I-295 South to exit 34B, that will put you on Route 70 West, follow for approximately1 mile, the restaurant in on the right, in the Sawmill Village Plaza.
From Points South: Take the Atlantic City Expressway to the North/South Freeway to I-295 North to exit 34B. This will put you on Route 70 West. Follow for approximately 1 mile, the restaurant in on the right, in the Sawmill Village Plaza.

All Society members and guests are reminded that alcohol consumption can lead to intoxication and therefore Society members and their guests are expected to drink in moderation at Society events. We suggest those attending either utilize designated drivers or other modes of transit where available,or mostly taste rather than consume alcohol when such drivers or alternative means of transportation are not available.
